Palestine is under a State of Siege. Chairman/President Yasser Arafat has been confined to the West Bank town of Ramallah for the past 6 weeks unable to leave due to the presence of the Israeli Military.
On January 20th, 2002, the State of Israel blew up the 'Voice of Palestine' radio station in Ramallah. Israel has bombed TV and Radio stations and towers before, but never on this large of scale. Palestinian officials have said that this incident is proof that there is a concerted campaign to destroy the Palestinian Authority. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have vowed to resume armed attacks on the State of Israel as a result.
While criticism of Arafat and the Palestinian Authority was recently unveiled by the International Community for trying to smuggle in 50 tons of Iranian made weapons, no-one can blame the Palestinian people for their right to attempt to defend themselves against protracted Israeli incursion and terrorist aggression
against the State of Palestine.
Israeli terror against the Palestinian people must end as a pre-condition to any true and lasting settlement in the region.
Since Sept. 29, 2000, 750 Palestinians have been killed and more than 16,000 have been injured. The Israeli Government has intensified its persecution of the Palestinian civilian population by continuing to lay siege to their land and demolish their homes.
The United States of America has provided the State of Israel with nearly \\$100 billion dollars (roughly $4 billion annually) in financial and military aid since 1967. U.S. M-16 rifles, F15/16 fighter jets as well as American Apache and Blackhawk helicopters have killed and destroyed Palestinian homes and lives
for decades. The United States has also helped develop Israel's burgeoning
stockpile of nuclear weapons these past number of years- estimates range from
200 to 2000 warheads, most of them nuetron bombs, designed specifically to minimize physical damage and maximize human kill ratio.
There can be no peace in the region until the International Community as a whole
organizes itself and declares WAR Against US and Israeli TERRORISM in the Middle East.
